Wow, that's really pretty! How is the new softail suspension?
    Congratulations!

The rear suspension is really nice. I still think the Fox Suspension on the new Indians in slightly better but for a bike of this (small) size it is quite nice. The difference between this and her old CVO Softail Convertible is night and day. I never thought much of the Softail suspension but this is very nice. I sneak out on it while she is at work and there is a short distance HOG Chapter ride.. Shhh.!! Don't tell!!! Lol!

This forum needs a "like" button! Sounds like the softail could become a good touring platform now.

I think we are due for a new touring frame it's been the same since 2009,, other than beefing up the front forks in 14+

They certainly need something. The new fairing has grown on me somewhat but I still don't like the new bags.
I'm pretty sure that I need to sell mine soon. I don't see myself getting well enough to ride it, at least not this year and it's gone maybe 100 miles since October 16 because of the crash.

Not that I'm riding much at all currently but something lighter with more suspension is likely.
Actually, I've been considering buying a van... ugh! I'm not sure I can bring myself to do it but I could make it a moto-adventure van and stuff the DRZ in the back for heading to far away places.
Sounds awful unless I pack someone else's dual-sport in there as well and we go do something fun like the various BDRs, Mexico or who knows.

First I have to figure out what happens on 3/31, which is the end of my current 'stay of execution' at work.

Livewire looks interesting too... 200 mile range. That's what I want. 200 miles at 75mph. Then it becomes an awesome commuter.
