All the northerners are go for rides, all the southerners (I mean below L.A. County) go for a ride.  Then there is Hubby and I in between, though admittedly closer to the southerners then the northerners. The ride to an from either can be just a bit to far for the average weekend jaunt...just going to Temecula and back was 383 miles for us.

We need more members North of L.A .but still in the area.  Gotta admit though we don't do the Biker Hangouts much.  If they happen to be close for lunch then we might stop but we don't shoot for them.

This weekend I'll be scooting around a bit --

Saturday : Santa Clarita for a late lunch/early dinner with my brother Saturday.

Sunday: Depending on how I'm feeling, maybe a jaunt to Tehachapi to try and get my mother on the back of the bike.   We keep offering to take her with us so she said she might actually try it !  This should be interesting

Monday: ?? I donno....

After sittin' next to you on your new Copper Top UC @ Quaid H-D, I made up my mind. I'm not going to be the last one on a Dyna...

I mentioned a ride a to Santa Clarita (Big Oaks Lodge) for last Sunday over at HDForums.  See "SoCal Sunday Ride".  Got no response.   I'm in Menifee, near Temecula, but could have met you at Big Oaks.  Had 18 bikes, including 4 gals riding their own.

Just wanted to say hello to all  . Joined a while back and hadn't said hi yet                                                                                                                                                                                                                     You guys and gals are just a bit serious for me, my Wide Glide would just shake me apart ( and itself ). Been watching the post here and over at hdforums, Sequoia is a big FAV. You'll have a great time ! The scenery just doesn't get any better !! The Rock Inn ( Lake Elizabeth ) , The Oaks, the Coast ( including The Rock Store ), Soledad Cyn back around to Angeles Forest Hwy and of course the Crest up to Newcombs Ranch for a bite ( it's my back yard ). All 150-250 mile runs

Bluerose,

Sometimes life ain't fair! It's an enjoyable 60 mile ride from here to Tehachipi. If I'd have caught this in time (Today is Sunday)...and I'd have been able to pinch some time away...me & the better half could have invited you & your old man to a nice lunch & ride. But alas, pinching time away is so hard when ya got crumb snatchers & animals...we have to make a hay run today so the horsey's stay fed. I'll be spending more time in the truck & less time on the scoot

I'm actually training myself on some software, working on my resume, and finishing out the flu (I hope) today so won't really be getting out.

I go to Tehachapi all the time since my parents live there....we'll have lots more opportunities...really!
