I picked up some 3/4" footboard extenders for the Eagle.. As you know the footboards on the SE's are the same size as the Street Glide. I needed to move them out a bit as I felt my right foot was hanging off the edge. Ahhh.. Much Better...

Most places charge around $50.00 for these.

Thanks for the link.

If you were to rebuy... would you ge the 3/4 or the 1" ones?

I'm about to order front and rear.

I have the same set, and I love them. At my height/inseam they have made it extra comfortable on long rides.

I have the 3/4 with the narrow (streetglide like footboards).  I have scraped twice already so I'm not sure I would want to go with a full inch.

Hmm... I scrape the wings all the time but not the floorboards.

I guess they are cheap enough that if I didn't like them I could eat the cost or resell them.

So, what are you doing posting when you are supposed to be riding?

Well Snow and cold weather detoured us a bit.  Today we are in Apple Valley at the Mom-in-Laws....Will head home this afternoon.   Yesterday was kind boring.  Hubby wanted to go to an indian casino in bullhead...AVI...we lost some of what we made at the Morongo (but not all) then headed back the 40 to Apple Valley.  Ended up getting to late to do extra riding so...long boring ride....

For me, 3/4" is fine. I had the same concerns as Bev. I haven't scraped yet. The first time I touch I'm going to raise them up a notch.

@Bev

What notch are your footboards mounted (currently mine are on the lowest setting)?

Is your wife riding with you now?

Sometimes ;)  She's only done about 500 miles so far but gettng there.  The bar on the right side is digging into her leg, so I'm thinking this might help.  If not, we will have to get the articulating mounts.  I'm not a huge fan of the comfort profile bag rails.

Noi had the same problem. Then I raised her pegs up to the top notch. She stopped complaining

Hubby did them he says the bottom.  I don't ride as aggressive as some of you.  The only time I've scraped is on a couple of realllllllly tight turns.

Hmmm.. I'd better raise mine up a notch. I figured since these are the small footboards, I would be safe.

What I did notice while installing them, the left side has 3 hole adjustments while the right side only has 2

There was an Ultra with them on it at the dealer in the used  area, she sat on it with the pegs, then went to the parts counter and bought them. When we got home she presented them to me and said "you need to put these on!"
