Paid $2.03 for premium this morning in So Cal.

(regular was $1.83)

Primo

P.S. Why couldn't we have had these prices all summer?

It was $2.25 (premium) Saturday when we got home.  I really didn't look this morning as I went by...probably less now.

Primo: I agree....Why couldn't it be this when I took that 3500 mile vacation...I think, highest I paid was $4.89 ...

Edit: My bad...it was 2.25 for premium not 2.05....Today it is 2.15

The sad part of all this is some time next week a pigeon will fly over a refinery in Saudi and fart.  The whole world will go into a panic, and the "spot market buyers" will drive the price up again.  No reason.  Wonder who the speculators that do this are?????

Wow you guys are lucky, 82 cents a litre here. Multiply that by about 4.5 to get gallons. And that is regular!

$1.94 here today plus I had a coupon from the supermarket for $.10 more off so I tanked up my truck for $1.84.

And I don't want to hear anything about it not being the scooter.  That's been put away for a month!!

All it took is for the world economy to collapse,  nobody can afford to buy crude oil, the towel heads start selling the glut they have for less, price drops.  Pretty soon, the Saudis will stop pumping, price gets driven back up.......

I paid $1.73 for reg. at Chevron yesterday in the truck, and didn't even take $10.00 to fill the bike with the good stuff.  Jeesh and it just seemed like yesterday I was bitchin about it costing $22.00 to fill the bike.  Well all I can say is don't rush out and buy a gas guzzler now  because you just know this isn't going to last.

I saw some really cheap gas in the low 1.70s but I put  $2.03 Chevron Premium in the bike.

I bought gas for the car the car it was $2.55 for regular.  The very next day it was $2.51

Looks like we are stabling out a bit...it's not doing the same 2 to 4 cents a day drop it was doing...been about 1.95/2.05/2.15 in my area for about  a week now.

I'm thinking it's time to buy in bulk and store it for next year.

I wonder how long this could last for?  Anyone think it has anything to do with the big-3 putting pressure on the oil companies?  Somehow they have to be working together.
