Some bikes are not as easy to install a cruise control,so a throttle control is our alternative method. I'm waiting for a throttle lock from cruiser customizing. It looks like a simple yet practical way to lesson the pain from throttle stiffness.I looked at the kuryakan throttle lock, but I thought it was to bulky, and it just looked like it was not part of the bike.I'll let You know how it turn's out.MIKE

Is the one you got the lever or is it a magnetic device like the kury one?

It's the lever type. It looks as though it grips the base mount and the grip mount when the slide lever is moved in a downward motion. To disingage either slide the slide lever up,or grab the front brake. They have a video on how it works,it looks effortless to use.plus on one of the ratings on the product 4.5 stars out of 5 for 1,150 people loved it and would buy it again.MIKE

My problem is that I don't know how to get the wireing inside of ape hanger bars,or if it has to go outside the bars .I have all goodrich silver braided lines to all My controls. So I need to get more information if I would need extension wires, would the cable be long enough. I heard through other sources that it would cost a grand to do,so it might be a pipe dream for Me.At what point do I stop dumping money into the bike, if it won't make it faster.MIKE
