Hubby is looking at a trailer in Tx. Its a Bushtec and has the pin connector instead of the usual ball...I of course got Hubby a ball so we would have to order the pin setup. To go pick it up he could just use the car (which has a hitch) and a flat trailer. Just might need to borrow a flat utility trailer.
Thanks

I know you guys have thought of this, BUT wouldn't the bike trailer fit inside a truck or van??? I mention this because speed limits change when pulling a trailer. For instance, I-40 is 70mph, or 55 pulling a trailer.
Just a thought.

Won't fit in the van...and don't have a pick-up....got a pick-up I can borrow?
Edit....Duh.....My dad has a pick-up short bed....but it as a shell on it...not sure it would work. --'08 HD Ultra Classic w/ ABS The content person enjoys the scenery of a detour.

Duh twice...I'm blaming the drugs...Bro-in-law in apple valley has pick-up truck...might be able steal his...Need to check the total length of the trailer to see how that would work out. Can't hang over but so far.
I also have a query with the guy about hooking it up to the car...the big problem is it has a pin and not a ball.
Hubby thinks his Mom might want to ride out with him to see our niece in San Antonio.

Out of the way but you are welcome to my truck... 8' bed
It's only 1600 miles each way... If I had the time, I'd go get it. Nothing like a road trip with a purpose!

Talked to the owner...looks like they can work it out to just tow it back with the car....yipee....
Nothing like being prepared though...

3-4 days for 3200 miles? I think we can do it in just under 2.
