just wanted to let everyone know my computer is down so I am on my nephews Apple

I am not sure when mine will be fixed as I cant even get it to connect to have my son download a fix

it says I picked up the netsky virus / worm and I have lost all my network connections and it keeps gettng worse every time I try and remove a bug I find

so it looks as if I may have to take it  back in to the gweeb squad and send it back to dell again

this time I dont have a local loaner as this apple thing sucks compaired to my dell

Wish I could help you.

It's tough being so far away now.

If you can get connected, download Malwarebytes (free version.) This program has saved me and countless others.

Over the years I've had 3 die on me,  no back-up.  Now I have a 120 gig portable hard drive permanently attached and do a back-up once a week.  Was about a hundred bucks.  Also bought a 1 Terra byte external for about $150.  All pictures and music are saved to the external drives.  If one dies, got the other.  Cost me more  to have the dead drive read and transcribed to disks.

Don't want to go through that nose bleed again!

Got Carbonite  back up on my puter cost $50 or so a year, Does everything

automatically. Stores off sight  incase of fire or theft . I'v got 38 gigs of pic's over 200 gigs of music and three user's e mails  and my  90 day old  puter died  no problem Carbonite put everything back in place on the new puter even put back saved  e mails back in there own file .

I have a USB external that I use with Norton Ghost to back up 3 laptops. I back up about every two ta three months. It's good to have an image to restore when things get sideways

well we did do a back up on the old files and they are still there just hidden on my drive

he also installed a back up program and I will be doing a back up every 30 days

and once I find my external drive I can do my own but it is hopefully in my storage in Ca.
