The 2nd Annual California Bike week which ends in the annual LOVE RIDE is gearing up in Pomona.

Last year Hubby and I rode down  with some friends on the Saterday and really enjoyed ourselves...Hoping to do it again this year.  In fact that's where I got hooked on my touring model.

Anyone want to go?

I won't be attending the Love Ride as I have other plans (Going to Disneyland) on the 26th....But Hubby and I will plan to ride down Saturday morning Oct 25th....

Maybe we can meet some of you for breakfest and ride in?

Yeah, I'd like to go... but I'm afraid.  Afraid I'd test ride a bagger and get that bagger disease you all have!!

hahahaha...Last year Harley was just handing you a bike and saying..."be back soon!"  That's when I took the bagger for a ride.  Folks started to get lost and they ended up doing led rides.

You could get Boss Hoss disease....we test rode those too

How about....

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Flappy Jacks -- just a bit north ( Less then 10 miles) off the 210
Never been there so if anyone knows anything about it speak up!

640 W Route 66
Glendora, CA 91740
(626) 852-9444‎
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

8:30 ish?....Gives us time for breakfest and the ride over to the gates around 10 am with no rush.  Could use a count of potential people when we get closer.

Last year Saturday morning was light traffic so you got to do more of the test rides and such...I personally didn't stay for the dirt track racing.  I can't seem to find a schedule of events on the web site.  The big event is Sunday with the Love Ride

Noticed they raised the price this year to $30 per person

What's 50 miles?  100 even for the round trip.

BillK - I just got an email for the Simi Dealer that they are selling tickets for Saturday...so you can stop by there if you plan on going and pickup a ticket. I probably will.....been meaning to pick-up a chrome fender skirt...my aluminum one looks like crap.

Are the tickets cheaper if purchased in advance from a dealer?

I'm going but then I'm posting it

Easiest day I've ever put together...

1. Call resturant (for large table)
2. Meet and Eat
3. Get everyone less then 10 miles to the Fairplex
4. Enjoy.......

No routes to make...nothing....Woo hoo

Marc has been 'quiet' lately...wonder if he is gonna replicate the 'gamma two step' (as it has become lovingly known by Pac Riders)...you know, bagger, what is a bagger? How do you spell bagger? Then when you show up at the'meet point' there he is with a 'shit eattin' grin, on a Screaming Eagle, with his surround sound playing, and asking what CB channel should he use.

I will not fall this ruse again

Ahh you guys were wise to me.. I dropped few hints. You may have been surprised that I got an Eagle. I just couldn't beleive what the dealers wanted for used UCs. At those pricesI figured I may as well go all the way on a private deal. Glad I did too. I miss the Dyna though. Not sure if I'll warm up to the Sportie. The wife caught me on it yesterday. I beat her home but she heard the pipes ticking.
