Hi everyone,
I've been riding for longer than I care to admit on Harleys, sport bikes, dirt bikes, etc. I've been frequenting another forum for the last two years and just learned of this one from Bluerose (Bev). I love to ride whether short or long rides and really look forward to the Pacific Coast ride next year. Missed the ride last year. I was without a bike for two weeks and it just happened to be the time of the ride up the coast. I would really like to hear from anyone that wants to ride on the weekends. I also like multi-day rides and am thinking about doing one the second weekend in November to Arizona. I have a 2008 FLHRC and am loving every minute of it. I never thought the Harley could be as much fun as my CBR600RR is on the track but it's just apples and oranges as far as I'm concerned. Glad to be here. Steve
P.S. I kinda resent the "Trailer Queen" label. I've never trailered a bike in my life (well except for the track bike 'cause it's not legal on the road). :-)

Hey Steve,
Welcome to The Ride Central.
I'm sure you will find plenty of weekend riding, we do a lot of that here.

Welcome aboard man.
As someone who isn't from cali (I ended up retiring out of the army here) I enjoy cruising the great American west (When work & family let me!). In my personal oppinion the 1 is prettier...but only slightly...unfortunately it's a little too twisty for my liking. I like to enjoy the scenery as opposed to wrestlin the hog through constant sharp turns. The 101 seems to be a better handling road to me, and it's still gorgeous.
