I'm thinking of doing an either 1 or 2 day ride somewhere during Thanksgiving weekend, not sure yet though (need to check if we're doing a family thing first). If I do, is anyone interested or already planning something?

I have plans on Sunday but if you end up just doing a one day thing, I want to go!

I was planning on going to LA to pick up a couple bikes I have stored there but money is short so it may have to wait so that leaves me open

I'm thinking Saturday... but some other family members are sorta trying to switch plans around which might crash this ride for me.  I'll keep you posted.  Have a crotch-rocket buddy who's interested as well... hope that doesn't offend anyone, LOL

Cool.

Why does family always try to cause problems for us ;)  If they all rode it would be easy.

We're not a Harley Only site. I have a few good friends that ride Metric bikes. One guy rides a White 2 Wheeled Honda Accord

Gamma,

You must be talking about our very own '9 Toes'.  Hopefully he'll be back in the saddle soon.

Yep! He's the one.

@airborne

Did you get your seat cover?

Yup, put gel in my seat and got the sheep skin cover you told me about.  I only use the sheep skin on longer day trips to keep from sweating - but it's real nice. It was the perfect size too. No more squirming around  in my seat  (used to get some strange looks from people too).

looks like I'm doing Saturday still.  Adam, got any thoughts on where you wanna hit?  Weather says it'll be the warmest of the week, and if fog isn't an issue any more, we could do a coastal ride.

I'm jealous....Hangin at the mom-in-laws with no bike.  I wanna ride!

Ol' 9 toes is trying to stay out of his boot but he is in pain faster that way...  (got a giggle at the name though)

Agenda still somewhat in the air.

Talked to Grant (he has 3 guys as definate maybe on rockets to give Ron a run for his money ;) )

Don, Ron, Q and myself will start in Walnut Creek around 9am and meet up with the Grant crew in Half Moon Bay  around 1030 and we will figure out if we want to stay on the coast or head through the mountains on skyline.  Ultimately, we will end up down around Big Sur... Dean you out there?

Anyone else up for the ride?

those other guys never got a hold of me... so I'll be the only one meeting y'all at Peet's in Half Moon Bay then.  I have a BT helmet so feel free to call my work mobile after 9:30 if needed.
