Some of you will get to hear them tomorrow

I bought them a couple months back but have had problems with the bike running really lean and hot.

A new intake seal later and the bike is running great so I decided to put the new pipes on right before a ride (yes, I have a habit of doing mods the night before)

So these look great and sound great.  Nice deep rumble and not too loud.  Much quieter than the V&H BSL's on the softail.  Definitely neighbor friendly.

I'll give a report once I have a couple thousand miles but so far I am very happy.  If the old pipes would have come off it would have taken 10 minutes to put them on.  Even fighting them with a deadblow mallet it only took about 45m.  They are about twice the size of stock but half the weight which seems to make no difference on such a heavy bike

About pictures... I'm hoping that either Santa or Chanukah Harry bring me a camera for national retail month.

Congratulations on the MO's. I sure do want a pair but opted for Rush for the time being. I have ordered a center stand and a Arnott air ride system. Have to get them setup. Will probably look at MO in a couple of months. Got to keep the chrome budget under control.

They have about 300 miles on them so far.  They are just slightly louder than I had expected but not obnoxious.  Certainly much quieter than the Thunder Header and Short Shots were on the bikes I rode with yesterday.

Still though, I think I got used to the stock pipes over the last several months and was happy to shut it down after more than 10 hours yesterday.

I seriously lust for these mufflers. But alas, I've spent about all I can get by with for a while
