I'm thinking Classic or U.C. The wife wants a trunk for her junk.

Rhubarb will agree since he has his on the Deluxe....Once you have a trunk you never go back.
I made mine removable (spent a bit over $300) and have had it off exactly 1 time in 8 months... . Even on short trips I use the tour pack more then the side bags. The side bags end up holding my weather gear and extras but my tour pack carries the stuff I get to often (unless I have something on the rack).

Yup. Never go in the side bags, they just hold stuff I might need like rain gear and tools. I use the trunk every single day.

But the bike handles so much better without the tour pac I only put in on the RG when I'm going on a long trip or taking a passenger. But unlike the Dyna, I have the option, Go for it!

Can't live without it on either bike. Even if it does look funky on the softy.

I was wondering how difficult it would be to put a d/c kit on the Ultra, considering it's got a CB and and FM antenna to deal with, along with the Tour Pack tail lights, etc.
I'd probably do the same thing, Bluerose... never take it off. I use it all the time.
