Rhubarb you are soooo bad...

Mom's name is actually Linda.   She would be pleased as punch if you guys give her a handle sometime   This is her first long ride....her first ride in a long time was a couple of weekends ago....so she is gonna have a sore butt !

She will be riding with Hubby so if you (gamma) and Hubby want to run off hot rodding you have to get her on another bike first!

Oh good lord that got me laughing this morning

Hubby popped out of bed before the alarm.....and BillK is on his way over early....It's like dealing with kids going to Disneyland

See you all soon!  Maybe we'll head over early and actually get some food.

Bev, can you arrange for a town with more rivers?  9 sounds like a good number.

I think one of the new ones needs to be coming from a hot spring with air bubbles, that way you have a built in jacuzzi for the sore muscles from the long rides.

Have fun and take alot of pictures.

ride safe!!

Uh sure  I'll call the mayor and have them pull on extras just for you

Why thank you Bev.  Can one of them have a nice calm deep spot that we can swim in?  Maybe a bridge to jump off?

Thanks Bev. The pictures are Great! I had a wonderful time!!

The ride home wasn't bad (too hot). I kept the switchback on all the way.

The Eagle landed just before 3:00PM

Thank you to everyone, as we all pitched in together to make this trip the best I have attended (and I have been to a few)

Gret pictures!

I have to agree that this was definately the best one so far.  Great scenery, the cabins were cool, riding was great and we actually seemed to ride like a team.

Thank you everyone for such a great time.

My Summary of the Trip:

1.  Adam finally has a bike the "fits" him...and the copper grows on you.  I look forward to seeing him each trip...lots of laughs...maybe next time he can even sleep in the cabin with others..

2.  Gamma, tricked us all by showing up in a Screaming Eagle Bagger...I say tricked (instead of surprised) because when asked, before the ride, he said "see no bagger, hear no bagger, speak no bagger".  Traitor.

3.  Marc is now our in house electrical engineer, specializing in Air Condtioning.  I have been on four rides with Marc, and each time I enjoy him more and more.  This is one person you should all get to know, especially when you realize his dry humor.  Fun to be with.

4.  This was my first ride with Marty, lots of fun and a true Harley lover.  Laid back, undemanding.  I look forward to more rides with him.

5. Don (Airborne)...damn, I know he gets up at 3 AM to clean his bike...always looks like its ready to enter the bike contest...even after several hundred miles.  Easy and fun to be around.

6.  Dean and Cora.  What is there to say about someone (Dean) at your cabin at 7 AM with hot breakfast burritos, stacked on a plate, saying 'you guys hungry'?  He was lucky to get away with both hands.  Cora is a laid back rider, enjoys the trip and people.  Both great people, and future 'bagger' riders.

7.  Momverly (Linda...Bev's mon),  Took it all in stride, enjoyed herself and our crowd...what else is there to say?

8.   Me.  I have proven that New York strip steaks are, still, best on the grill.

9.  Brad & Bev.  Once again the weather Gods smiled upon us.  Bev has a direct line (but needs the rest of us for the connect...see Bev's vacation thread after she left us at Mommoth).  As usual, Bev put together a well organized, safe, fun trip for all.  Brad is a prince among men, and I, truly, admire him.  All that have seen his interaction with Bev, and the rest of us would surely agree.  Bev shucks off, as easy, the organization of these trips, but it is a lot of work, and she takes it in stride...and loves the ride (I'm a poet and didn't know it).  Thanks Bev and Brad.

One thing I did learn, it is a lot of fun with a 'large' cabin.  We had four, but the large one was like a house with a large kitchen and living room...great place to congregate at night, drink some beer, tell some lies.  This should be a definate must on future trips...if we can find such.  We had a great 180 mile ride on Saturday with great people.  Now, wthat more could one ask?
